Health Insurance Marketplace - Married filing Separate Return

I am married and have a HealthCare plan in the Market place with my spouse.  I've filed for Divorce, but it is not final.  I work 2 jobs and have fed and state taxes taken out of my check.  My spouse received a 1099.  My spouse has little to no expenses to deduct for the year.  I would have received a nice return had it not been for his 1099 along with no expenses.  I understand that you should file Jointly if you have enrolled in the HealthCare Marketplace.  What it be better for me to file separate and take the hit?  How do I know, as currently if we file together, he (we) will owe money.  I appreciate your advice.  I am extremely frustrated.

You could file separately, and when you enter your 1095-A in the Health Insurance section, you can allocate 50% of it to you as a shared plan. Then you may only be responsible for 50% of the PTC repayment (see screenshots).
