FOR THE TAX YEAR 2017 I PAID AN ADDITIONAL $5,500.OR $1375 PER QT. OVER OUR TAX WITH HELD ON THE W2. WHERE WILL IN ENTER THIS AMOUNT?

I HAVE A PAYMENT OF $5,500. TO THE IRS FOR 2017.

THIS PAYMENT IS ABOVE ANY WITHHOLDINGS FOR THE YEAR 2017.

WHERE WILL SHOW THIS ON MY 2017 TAX RETURN.

WHICH IS TURBO TAX BASIC.??

You can report the additional tax payment of $5,500 in the following section.

1.  Go to Federal

2. Go to Deductions and Credits

3.  Select Estimates and Other Taxes Paid

4.   Choose either Estimated Tax Payments or

      Other Income Taxes Paid (this will depend on what type of payment made with the $5,500)
