Your return is not due until April 15th. And before April 15th, you can file an extension which extends the due date until October 15th.

You can't e-file the extension yet (although you will be able to before April 15th), although to be honest, I don't know if you would need your IP PIN just to e-file the extension.

No matter, at any point before April you can fill out and print and mail the 4846 (Extension of Time to File Your Tax Return, or maybe even fill it out online - see this IRS webpage.
