Working on the state gambling winnings (W-26), your drop down box 13 is missing the state of Washington. How do I proceed?

Your drop down box is missing a state.  My W-26 (state gambling winnings), box 13 State/Payer's state ID number says WA/.  Your drop down box to select the state is missing the State of Washington.  Your software insists I review it and enter the state.

Washington State does not collect gambling taxes.  To remove the review message in TurboTax, leave all boxes 13-18 blank.  Box 13 should say ''Select a State''.  The rest of 13-18 should be empty.  If you are still getting a message to review it after, it is probably the address that is causing the review message.  

A W-2 G has to have:

• Payer name and full address, including a valid zip-code for the state of Washington
• Payer Federal Identification number
• An amount in Box 1
• A date in Box 2

All other fields can be blank.
