In that case, please try simply leaving the address field blank on the W-2 entry screen.  This assumes, of course, that your W-2 is otherwise accurate, and that it contains your employer's United States federal EIN (Employer Income Tax Number).  This EIN number should be 9-digits long, and look something like the format 73-1234567.  That number, your Social Security Number, and your wage data (Boxes 1 through 20 on the W2) are actually all that is transmitted to the IRS.

Alternatively, try entering a US address for your Canadian employer, if they have a local office in the US.
