I won approx $4K in a drawing type contest. They sent me a 1099 NEC not a W2G. I entered the amount in when asked about 1099NEC. But then I found the "did you win money?" question. At the did you win money question the system is looking for a W2G. Am I okay to leave as is and answer now to winning money.

Yes, you can answer no to winning money. That question is there just so TurboTax knows which forms to populate for you. Since you already entered your prize money, there is no need to answer yes and have that form populated.
