With the information that the IRS is not taxing on Form 1099, will I be eligible for a refund from TurboTax for upgrading to the Deluxe version?

I've always fixed with the free version. The only reason I upgraded was because of the 1099 form. However, we don't need to pay tax on it so will I get a refund back from Turbo Tax since the 1099 did not apply after all?

We cannot see your screen or your tax return. There are over a dozen kinds of 1099's---we do not know what kind you have. Please provide some details.

It was for the MCTR “Middle Class Tax Credit”. When I originally filed the IRS hadn’t made a decision if it would be taxed or not. The final decision was that we would not be taxed.

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”
