Wisconsin Tax return rejected due to retirement law

I got this message that my return was rejected due to Wisconsin changes in tax return laws. I've resubmitted it and it still rejected it. What is going on!!!! My partner has retirement income and his hasn't been rejected. Fix It!!!!!!

Happened to me too.

There is a new issue with the Wisconsin retirement income exclusion.  I tried to efile my WI return with TurboTax desktop version (after updating it), and the return was rejected with error code "TY25_WI_Retirement_V2_Narrow "

Now TurboTax says yet another WI update will be issued on 2/26/2026 - WHY CAN'T THEY FIX THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL??!!

I did the 2/26 update, and my Wisconsin is still being rejected.

Same thing happened to me. I updated TurbTax this morning and tried (twice) and each time my WI return was rejected. I spent 30 minutes talking to a TurboTax representative who was unable to help. 

I finally gave up and efiled my return directly on the WI DOR website. Hopefully that takes care of it. 

After using TurboTax for 20 years or more, I am done with them. Next year I am switching to another software company.

Updates usually go out overnight on Thursdays, so I wouldn't expect it until tomorrow.

This is the worst problem I have ever had with Turbo Tax.  They could tell us when the fix is actually there.  They said 2-26.  when will the fix be there?

Mne finally went through this morning. This year has not been a good one for TurboTax.

My Wisconsin did finally go through, but TurboTax (desktop) still shows it rejected and wants to e-file it again. Anyone else seeing this in their program?

If you filed online, your desktop would not realize that. Therefore, your desktop would still be waiting to efile. I am glad you were able to get filed.
