what year are you working with? 2021 or 2022?
are you using the online version or the desktop.
where is the deadline of the 10th coming from???? that is not an IRS deadline.....
I’m filing for 2021 using the windows desktop program. The extension the IRS gave me is for the 15th of December, which was granted because I currently live outside of the USA and had to wait for some forms and other documentation. The 10th is just the final date I have available to work on filing because I will not have the resources or time to do so afterwards.
in Forms View, are all the red check boxes gone? TT will take you through a final validation in any event.
I'd would just print out the tax return, sign it and mail it in (you can't efile it at this late date).
There are red checks besides forms 1040 and 2555-T and schedule 1 and B.
Alright, thanks for your help.
@jocmonroy - those red check marks means there is still a problem - either the forms require updating or you have errors on those pages..... those need to be cleared before filing.
in Forms Vew, click the 'error' button at the top of the page....it'll show you what the issue is
In the FORMS mode find the red/pink boxes and click on them to data source where the problem is coming from. Also in the FILE tab choose to mail in the return (only option at this late date) and check the REVIEW tab again to see if there are any other incomplete sections that require fixing. Some things only needs to be fixed if you are efiling the return. If you still have errors please post exactly what they are ... maybe we can help.
