Will Turbo tax file my taxes since I have an approved extension?

No, TurboTax does not file your tax returns for you.  You have to either e-file or print your tax returns for mailing from the TurboTax program.  You can use the TurboTax program to e-file a 2016 tax return through October 16, 2017.  After that date the 2016 tax return must be printed and mailed.  The 2016 online editions of TurboTax will shut down after the IRS extension filing deadline.
