Will the numbers from ssa-1099 change from when you enter them? I've entered the numbers correctly then when I go to the total income page the numbers have increased.

I entered the numbers from box 5 then when I continue on to the next step the numbers have increased dramatically  I've edited it a number of times and still have the same outcome  I've even tried restarting the entire process but the same thing happens am I doing something wrong or are the numbers supposed to increase from what I originally entered?

Have you entered any other income or just the SSA1099?   You should be seeing your Social Security income on lines 6a and 6b.   What line are you looking at?

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
