Will I lose my capital loss carryover amount carried forward from 2017 if I don't file a 2018 return?

I'm a dependent and don't meet the rules/thresholds to have to file a 2018 return. I did file in 2017 and had a capital loss carryover amount.

No, you will not. The loss will carry forward to the next tax return you file.
