Will I be able to use my Turbo Tax account to file my 2017 taxes after I used my Turbo Tax account to file my granddaughters taxes. Now I'm having trouble entering mine.

Unfortunately, no. Each tax return needs it's own online TurboTax account.

If you enter your information now it will delete hers.

You will need to create yourself a new account.

You may use the same email address. BUT it is best to use a totally different email address if possible so there's no confusion on log in.

Each online account needs it's own log in username and password.

If you want to start another return in TurboTax Online, here’s what to do:

1. Sign out of Your TurboTax Online.

1. Select the TurboTax Online product you want to use for the second return and proceed creating your other account.

1. On the Create your account screen, set up a new login for the second return.

• You can reuse your email address if you want to receive e-file notifications for the second return.
• Up to 5 accounts can be tied to the same email address. BUT it is best to use a totally different email address if possible so there's no confusion on log in.

• After you've created the new account, you can start working on the second return.

FYI: Next year you might want to purchase the CD/Desktop version. You can prepare up to 5 returns for Efiling and transfer these 2 online accounts into your desktop next year.  There it wall all be kept together.
