Will a Turbotax file (from last year) made on a Mac, open with Turbotax on a PC (this year)? I ask, because my old files were from a Mac but plan on buying a PC.

A TTax data file (.taxyyyy) should open on either a MAC or a PC regardless of which type of computer created the data file.

You will need to ensure that you have first installed the correct (year) TTax  program and that it is FIRST updated to include all current program updates and state(s).
