No, TurboTax tax experts cannot help with prior year tax returns.
The "Live" experts only help with current year returns---so 2025. A past year return cannot be e-filed; it has to be filed by mail. When your returns were rejected you received emails with the rejection message or rejection code. We cannot see those emails. But--most rejections are for AGI, and you do not need AGI to mail a tax return. You can print, sign and date the returns in ink, and mail them to the IRS and state. You have forfeited your 2021 refund; it will not be paid now. 2022's refund will be forfeited unless you mail it by April 15, 2026. If you owe tax due for any of those years, it is owed with late filing penalties and interest that continues to add up.
Mail each year separately; do not try to combine them in any way.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
