If your were married as of 12/31/17, then your choices are married filing joint or married filling separate. In general, married filing joint will be the better option for you.

Married filing Joint. There is no requirement for both filers to have income. It's also the best way tax-wise for a married couple to file.

I opted to mail in my return but as I was reviewing it i noticed that I didnt enter all my credits. How to i avoid doign an amedned return?
