Why would the IRS ignore my entry on 1040 line 30?

I received no 2021 payments.  AGI under $150K.  No dependents.  IRS ignored $2800 entry on line 30.  Can anyone tell me why or what to do?

many taxpayers got the 3rd stimulus payment but omitted this from the recovery rebate worksheet. the IRS records indicate you did get it so they change line 30 to $0.   if you disagree that should be instruction on how to refute the change or use.  check your bank records for 2021.

The Audit Defense service is provided by TaxResources, Inc., also called TaxAudit.com, in partnership with TurboTax. If you paid for Audit Defense and you received a notice, call TaxResources, Inc. at 877-829-9695, or report your notice on their website at http://intuit.taxaudit.com/. Do not contact the tax agency until you have spoken to TaxResources. They may contact them on your behalf.

Double check your bank statements and Check your IRS account (both accounts if married)

If the IRS thinks they sent it to you but you didn't get it request a trace for a missing third Stimulus payment

what the IRS is saying is that as far as they are concerned, they sent you the $2800.  If you truly beleive you did not receive the stimulus, then the only way out of the pickle is the trace document

I would suggest reviewing your transcript at the IRS website and they will note the date they sent the money to you.  Might be worth one last check in the weeks beyond that date of your banking account statements to be triple sure you really didn't receive it.
