Why won't Turbo Tax let me file on June 15 given the new IRS ruling in Texas?

IRS just extended the date that Texans may file taxes.  Turbo tax doesn't allow it.

You are correct. 

This was just announced and the software has not been updated. You may delay your filing but if you need to file to get your stimulus payments, you might not want to wait.

As of today, STILL not updated. They have about a week.

Not a good situation. You can't even talk to Intuit!!!

If your state has extended til June 15th you can do that for the state, however this does not extend your Federal return.  And you are correct you have a few days to file the Federal on time.  If you can give further details about the problem you are having, we will be able to assist you.
