Why won't new mexico let me file my state tax return yet ?

"Supposedly" the NM forms are ready

BUT

If you filed your Federal tax return earlier, you have to wait for that to be "Accepted" by the IRS before you can file the NM forms.

My federal were accepted yesterday

Go thru your entire NM Q&A from start to finish....including the state review, just in case there's some error.

Then try again.

Certainly, since any IRS acceptances this week are only test files, it is possible that filing the state may be blocked until the IRS starts it's official processing next week.

IF it doesn't work next week..like after Tuesday...you'd have to contact Custome Support.
