Why won't my New York State document number from the back of license enter ? What first 3 characters am I missing?

Why won't the software accept my Document # from the back of my New York state license

Can you clarify if you used the first 3 digits after "IDUSA"? The 3 numbers after that seems to satisfy the requirement.  Some other users experienced errors with incorrect issue date and expiry dates, so double check they are correct and not swapped as well.
