Why will Deluxe not allow me to use Schedule D as it has in past years?

The Deluxe online edition has never supported the entry of an investment sale on Schedule D.  You need to upgrade to the Premier online edition.

 

The Deluxe desktop CD/Download edition support entry of an investment sale on Schedule D.

Why will Deluxe not allow me to use Schedule D as it has in past years?

Thank you, I have been using the CD but my computer will not support the needed OS and so when I talked with turbo tax I was told that I would have the same benefits with online as with the CD.  Obviously someone there did not know the facts.
