Why were my fees more that what I saw on my filing page?

I've also seen where Intuit was using a 3rd party and charging more than what was disclosed, how can I appeal this?

How much more?  If you have the fees deducted from your refund there is an Extra $40 Refund Processing Service charge (45 in California).   If your refund is still less after deducting the fees the IRS might have adjusted your refund.  Then the IRS will mail you a letter.

So where was that disclosed? Also, I didn't even know there were any fees until I was completely finished. I signed up for the free tax filing. Made less than 73k, had one W2, no deductions or other forms needed. It was the simplest of returns and yet they still wanted to charge me?
