Why was my return rejected to require me to fill out form 1095-A? I have private insurance through my employer, I didn't and won't receive this 1095-A form.

You may have the form 1095-A or form 8962 that relates to it in your program from some reason. It could be carried over from a previous year, for instance. You can see if you have those forms and delete them if you find them and that may resolve your issue.

A simple way to delete forms in TurboTax online is to use the Tax Tools menu option, which is on your left menu bar when you are working in your program. Then, choose Tools and then Delete a form.

If you are working in the download TurboTax program, use the Forms Mode on your menu bar to bring up the form you want to delete, then choose the Delete Form option at the bottom of the form.

If the IRS rejected the return for the 8962 then they believe your name is on a 1095-A somewhere ... did you possibly have ACA insurance for a month or two early in 2021?   Or were you on your parent's return?   Call the ACA to see if they can find you on any policy ...  www.healthcare.gov
