You can check the fees that were charged to you by TurboTax by following these steps:

  • While in your Tax Home,
  • Scroll down to Tax Tools,
  • Select Tools,
  • Select My Fees.

You might want to review the details of your return while in TurboTax to make sure everything was filed correctly by follow these steps:

  1. While in your Tax Home,
  2. Tax Tools on the left hand side of your screen,
  3. Select Tools,
  4. Select View Tax Summary,
  5. Select Preview my 1040 on the left hand side of your screen.

Since you have filed your return you can not change anything in TurboTax.  If you find any errors, you will have to file an amended return to correct it.  For information on how to file an amended return use this link:  How to file an amended return.

I hope this helps!

I’ll try. Thank you so much!

Did you already get your refund?  Was the fees deducted from it?

If you didn't get the refund yet,

Sounds like the IRS is taking too long to send your refund or reduced it. See What if the IRS reduces your refund or delays it.

Then when the IRS does send your refund they won't take the fees out again.

And, Why you got charged,

You should have received about 4 emails asking for the fees. If you don't pay they will debit your account. You had to agree to it.

I got my refund and they already deducted the 80$ to my refund. But they still charged me 40$ on my credit card.
