Why was I charged for state return when the first entry was from Florida and was not used?

The FL state return was not filed but NC state returns were filed.

Every state that you file is a separate charge of 36.99 unless you skip over it and decide to mail it in

I am allowed free state returns on my Turbotax program but was charged $42.79 for NC.

your using desktop correct? If so your allowed one free state and 5 federal
