Why was i asked to mail in my return with payment after submitting it electronically?

If you owe taxes did you select to mail in a check? If yes then you will need to mail the check with the voucher 1040V. To print the voucher: 

Please log back in your TurboTax account and "add a state" to open the return back up (you are not really adding a state, just to open it back up), then select Tools on the left, Print Center and choose the print center, then select returns.
