Why it says that to file my taxes I need a pin

Because you previously filed with e-file , last year's taxes you created a pin , you can by pass this by filling information in from last year's tax transcript which if you used TurboTax will be located within your documents

If you're referring to the 5-digit e-file PIN, it is a 5-digit number that you choose. Enter any 5 numbers.

If you are referring to the 6-digit IRS Identity Protection (IP) PIN, use the IRS online tool Get an IP PIN or visit Retrieve Your IP PIN for more information.
