Why isn't our FBAR in our Federal Return when it says it was filed?

Our Turbotax filer did our Federal and California returns, however, looking at the Federal, I see the Part III Foreign Accounts and Trusts and the boxes are ticked that they filed the FBAR and Form 8938, but those documents don't appear anywhere on our return. What can I do to remedy this Turbotax??

The FBAR would not be included in your tax return because it is filed with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), not the IRS. From the IRS guidance page on FBARs:

How to file

You must file the FBAR electronically through FinCEN’s BSA E-Filing System. You don’t file the FBAR with your federal tax return.

It is not guaranteed that you would need to file Form 8938 unless you met the applicable filing threshold; the checkboxes in Part III of Schedule B do not indicate an 8938 will be filed. The interview questions in TurboTax can handle the threshold determination - which can be technical to understand - so you were likely screened out from meeting the threshold.

If you want to verify that you did not meet the applicable threshold, you can check this IRS 8938/FBAR differences guidance page
