It depends.
There could be a stray character or extra space on your input. First, I recommend going to the CA Secretary of State Business Search page and seeing if the number does indeed match what you are entering.
Then, since this is a single member LLC, you will need to make the input in the state interview section that is titled Business Summary.
Select Edit to the right of your business name.

Select yes on the screen asking if your business is owned by a single member LLC.

Select continue on the screen titled "California requires that you e-file Form 568."
The next page will be titled "Single Member LLC filing" and has Form 568 ready to complete. Scroll down to the section below the LLC's address and type in your Secretary of State File No. in the first box. Also, as the instructions on this page indicate, be sure to complete any entry that has bold lettering to ensure the form populates correctly.
