Make sure to enter only the last 15 characters of your marketplace assigned policy number from Line 2 of your Form 1095-A and enter it without any dashes or spaces.
See this TurboTax article for more information on Form 1095-A.
It is only a 9 digit number in line 2.
It is also saying it is a duplicate policy??? I pay the entire amount each month for me and my two daughters. They are both over 18 and file their own taxes; however, I pay 100% of the health insurance. Not sure if that helps
If you are all in the same policy, you should only enter your Form 1095-A once, first verify your entries and verify that you only have one Form 1095-A entered. If you only have one Form 1095-A entered and you are still getting issues with the Marketplace number, delete the form and enter it again.
To do this:
After you enter your form, there is a question in TurboTax that asks if you shared the policy with someone else. Answer yes, and then enter the information for one of your daughters. Then you will need to allocate the amounts between all three of you.
