Why is Turbotax Federal only, on-line $79.99 and $69.99 Federal and State returns at Costco?

TurboTax Online Premier is $79.99 to prepare and file your federal return. There will be an additional cost of $44.99 to prepare and e-file your state tax return.

TurboTax Deluxe, Premier and Home/Business CD/Download products come with one state download included with the program which means you can prepare and print unlimited returns for one state at no extra cost. However, additional fees apply for e-filing state returns ($24.99 each). *E-file fees do not apply to New York state returns.

She explained it very well.  
The online Turbo Tax is completely different than the Desktop CD/Download program.  And by the way, it looks like your Mac is too old to install the Desktop program anyway.  Unless you have another computer or can upgrade yours.
