Why is this only giving me a $500.00 child credit rather than $2200.00. He is my dependent, and no one else can claim him? I tried everything to fix it and I cant.

If he is age 17 or older then he is no longer eligible for the child tax credit. He is only eligible for the $500 Other Dependent credit.
