How would that help?  Accepted just means they verified it is from you.  Like just your name and ssn.  Then they process it.  They won't know your return is wrong until they start processing it.  And you don't know it is wrong and that it needs fixing until the IRS tells you.  

Turbo Tax is a self prepared return.   You have to enter your income and deductions right and answer the questions right.  A lot of people are answering the Stimulus payment and Child Tax Credit questions wrong.  So the IRS has to adjust a lot of returns which also is delaying everyone's return.

Right.  Accepted just means Received for Processing.  It does not mean Approved, which is a later step.

The IRS computers that accept (or reject) your e-filing are not sophisticated enough to analyze an entire return for errors.
