it's likely working just fine and you don't owe tax for what you input so far. check your 1040 in Forms mode.
I've only inputted income so it should not be 0. This has never happened before in my years of using Turbo Tax.
what does your 1040 say
The TurboTax desktop federal refund tracker sometimes displays $0 or disappears if the return is not complete. Sometimes it does not calculate until you start entering deductions and credits. Click on the Review tab to try to trigger it to calculate.
If you have only entered income without corresponding tax withholding, it will display $0. If you have entered W-2's make sure you have entered your withholdings. Also, it may continue to display $0 if you have not input enough deductions to exceed the Standard Deduction. You could try deleting and re-entering your W-2 to try to trigger a recalculation.

where should I search to find the info you are referring to "1040 say"?
Ok, will try to input some deductions data and see... thanks for now.
to see the 1040 go to Forms mode by clicking the icon at the top of the tax return window, or View / Go To Forms, and you can see all the forms for your return as you go
if none of the suggestions here work then also try restarting Turbotax or rebooting your machine, Turbotax can do some strange things
Ok, thank you.
