Why is my 1040X form not ready until 3/25/2021?

TT cannot release the form until the IRS approves TT's version (programming) of it, as is true with all the Federal forms.

If you want to efile it you will not be able to do so until 3/25 at the earliest ... that is set by the IRS.  Or you can print, ink sign and mail in the return but expect it to take 4 months or more to process.
