Why is its saying I owe more than what turbo tax stated

Where are you seeing the amount you owe? We cannot see your screen so we do not know what you are looking at. And are you asking about your TurboTax fees or federal or state tax owed? Please be more specific.

Did you get a letter from the IRS? It should say what they changed on your return. And are you looking at your actual 1040 tax return line 23? At the end Turbo Tax shows you a summary of the net combined federal and state. But that is only for your info. You will still get the full amount and need to pay any tax due separately yourself.
