Why is it Not letting me do my state taxes?

Well...you need to indicate which state...only then might someone be able to see if there is an issue with that particular state.

Those should all be ready for preparation...but try again on Friday in case there are some late updates that they are installing tonight or tomorrow.

Other:  If you e-filed Federal by itself already, you may not be able to start in preparing the states until the IRS Accepts or Rejects your Federal filing.

If you haven't filed the Federal forms yet, make sure every scrap of the Federal section is filled in before attempting to prepare either state form set.

I have filed the federal part and it has been accepted.  I have used turbo tax for many years now and this is the first time ever had issues, so yes I feel it is on the states end for not being fully prepared and running yet. I will try again on Fri or even Monday
