If you are using the TurboTax online editions there is no direct access to any forms, schedules or worksheets.

To enter an investment sale -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Under Investment Income
On Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other (1099-B, 1099-DA), click the start or update button

Using the online editions -

On the screen Did you have investment income in 2025? click on Yes

On the screen Save time and connect your financial accounts click on Enter a different way

On the screen How do you want to add your docs?, select Type it in myself

On the screen OK, let's start with one investment type, select Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds and continue

Not using Online edition. Old school Tax accountant here, w/ Top 3 University Ranked BS/MS in Accounting /Taxation degrees. Sad to see Turbotax Literally BURY Access to Forms (can't even Search to find them on their software), so Taxes become even more difficult to Self-file, thus helping TurboTax Up-Sell their 'Complete' Tax Services. Turbotax Co Focus Now MISSES its Original Target Marketing group!!

@TaxMaster1988 Click on Forms on the upper right of the desktop program screen for Windows.

Or Click on View at the top of the desktop program screen.  Click on Forms

I did several times. Form 8949, Capital Asset forms & like kind exchange info forms are Purposefully NOT found on Turbotax any longer. They're unsearchable. Interview ONLY! Try it.

You can search the form but first it has to be added.  You have to make an input into the schedule D that requires a form 8949.  At that point the system will add it to the return and you can search it.  But it won't be added unless it is needed based on entries.
