Why is it forcing me to do a schedule 2 which requires adding a paid product?

I only entered my w2 and my wife's w2 and the standard deduction. When I go to file it is forcing me to do the paid version because of "schedule 2, additional taxes".

Go through the REVIEW tab to see if there is a clue.  Is there any message?

And here's how to look at Schedule 2 to see what entry on it likely generated it:

With your return open, go to the left menu column and choose TAX TOOLS then TOOLS.

In the Tools window choose View Tax Summary.

On the Tax Summary screen go to left menu column and click Preview My 1040.

That brings up the 1040 and any of the Schedules 1-3 that are in your return.   

Scroll down and see if you can get a clue in the Schedule 2.

To go back to the return click "Back" in the menu column.
