Why is intuit forcing me to file as head of household? I am not allowed to per divorce decree.

how do i change my status to Married filing separately?  it keeps placing me as head of household...unfortunately the divorce decree does not allow this option.

Are you divorced?  If you are you can't file Married filing Separate.  You are now Single.

are you divorced as of 12/31/19 ? then you cannot file Married.
