The box Check here if your main home and your spouses if filing a joint return was in the US for more than half of 2025 should be checked if both you and your spouse's main home was in the United States for more than half the year.  TurboTax checks this box based on the information you provide in the My Info section.

If you have printed your return to mail it and you or your spouse's main home was not in the United States for more than half the year, you can white out that check-box before mailing the return.

@carrendol that check mark is important if you are EITC eligible.  One of the criteria of EITC eligibility is that you lived in the US for at least 6 months of the year, so if the box is not checked, you are automatically NOT eligible for EITC.
