Why I field my taxes and is no response ?

The IRS doesn't open and start taking tax returns until Jan 27.  Until then it will sit at Turbo Tax and be pending.  

When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile.

The IRS will not be accepting any 2019 tax return until January 27, 2020.

Did you e-file the return?  Did you receive an email from TurboTax acknowledging the transmission of the tax return?

You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large Orange button labeled "Transmit my returns now".

After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.

Because the IRS is not accepting 2019 tax returns until January 27, 2020.  Your tax return will be Pending until the IRS starts pulling tax returns from the TurboTax servers.  The second email will be sent after the IRS either accepts or rejects your tax return.

And you will not get the second email UNTIL the IRS starts accepting returns for processing which will not start until 1/27 at the earliest.   NOW  they do take a few returns earlier than that for "TESTING" purposes of the system however the return will not process any faster.
