Why i couldn’t finnish my taxes?

We are unable to see your return. Was the software giving you any indication of forms that you may be waiting on? As it is still early in the tax season, some forms are not yet available. The link below provides information on forms availability in TurboTax products.

I was unable to submit and file my Federal and State taxes for Michigan on Sunday Feb 9 2020, because it stated that there was a form that was not available from the Government (IRS) for 8606, but when I went tot he IRS website and searched for that for it was available on their site.  I am not sure why it stated that this for is not available and I received an email that Turbo Tax will email me when that form becomes available. I was told this form 8606 will be available  this Wednesday, is that correct and will I receive an email from Turbo Tax  when that form is available?  Thanks

Yes, you will receive an email when the form is ready. 

While you’re working on your return, we’ll ask if you want to receive email updates when your forms become available.

The IRS has to finalize the form and approve it for e-filing before the it becomes available on TurboTax.

Turbo Tax adult support told me on the phone Monday Feb 10th that the  form I needed 8606 was to be available on Feb 12th and would be contacted, is this true I have not seen an email to verify that and is the form still not available for Turbo tax online at this time?   When will this form be downloaded so I can complete my Federal and state tax forms for Michigan?

Form 8606  will be available in this week's release of TurboTax.  The forms availability article will be updated when the release is made.
