Why I can't download my 201 tax return

What tax year are you looking for?  You left off a digit.   Have you found the return in your account?   Was it prepared in Free Edition, and when you try to print/view/download, does it tell you that you have to upgrade to PLUS to access it?

Or when you go to "Your Returns & Documents" for the year in question, are there no links appearing for "download/print the PDF" and "download the *.tax file"?

If when you go to "Your Tax Returns & Documents", you likely found that the links for downloading a PDF or .tax file were missing from January 1 to January 3.   After January 3, there are supposed to be new instructions that appear in that section that will tell how to upgrade and pay for a 2017 product in advance (PLUS or higher) to unlock a prior-year return.    That revision should be made with an update scheduled for either today or tomorrow.  So this area is in flux right now.    The links for downloading a PDF or .tax file were missing in my own account, too.

To access your prior year online tax returns, sign onto the TurboTax website with the UserID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and the click on Download/print return (PDF).
