The other dependent credit (ODC) is allowed for a child who has an individual taxpayer identification number or ITIN. The child tax credit (CTC) is not allowed for a child who does not have a social security number (SSN).

How do I amend my return to add a dependent? Turbotax will not allow me to add a dependent. When I click on "Revisit" it just says a have no dependents.
