Why hasn't the total tax amount due changed since I paid my taxes online?

TurboTax always shows the amount due that was shown on your tax return. It does not get updated when you make a payment.

Your return will always show the ending result of your tax return.  Just like if you printed out a hard copy to keep.

TT does not update after your return has been accepted.  Your account will always show the result of the return you prepared using the software.  TurboTax never knows if you received your refund —or if how, or when you paid tax due.  Your proof that you paid your tax will be your own bank/credit card records.
