Why doesn't TurboTax remember my file?

Every time I get into TurboTax, it starts over, like I haven't even started the return. Why is it doing that? Shouldn't it just pick up where I left off?

Are you using the Online version or the Desktop installed program?  Do you have to really start over and re enter everything?

Good questions, @VolvoGirl. I'm using the Windows desktop version.

I can search for my return by doing a File | Open Tax Return.
