Why doesn’t turbo tax have the option to file for 2022? All it says is start your 2021 tax return

The TurboTax online editions for tax year 2022 will not be available until early December.

@ronnie-davilajr you can not file for 2022 until the IRS permits it...and that is typically very late in January. 

Employers and financial companies are required to send you the appropriate forms by January 31.
