Why does TurboTax tell me that I cannot file Massachusetts return electronically? Is it because I did my extension directly with Mass., instead of through TurboTax?

Did you e-file your federal return using TurboTax?   You can only e-file your state return if your federal return was successfully e-filed using TurboTax.   You must use exactly the same account and user ID that you used for the federal return in order to prepare and e-file your state return.

I've always filed them electronically together, Mass. immediately after the federal. Now TurboTax is telling me that I have to file Mass. on paper. The only thing different this year is that I filed my Mass. extension directly with Mass. online, not using TurboTax extension. But I've entered the payment that I made with the extension to TurboTax....
