Why does turbotax keep asking to "review" the estimated tax payments when they're entered correctly?

Reentered twice and still "needs review". Must be on a loop. Do I just ignore it?

Switch from STEP-by-Step to Forms (It’s a drop down at the screen top under VIEW. )
Scroll down the left column to the TAX Form and you should see your 4 estimates displayed in the right screen.
Is there a ️showing in the left column? That means something is missing on your form. Look for a dark pink shaded box(s) that stands out from the other background on the tax estimate form. That box(s) is the problem. Twice this happened to me because the MT for Montana was missing in a box. On another form TT threw in three duplicate blank forms for 1099-INTs along with three that were filled in. I had to delete the blank duplicates. One CD was entered twice so I probably did that but TT didn’t catch it and I would have paid taxes on an extra $4,000. Lastly, one form displayed all the figures downloaded from a large account but left out one figure. It was on my paper Combined 1099 but it did not download. Since last year there was a figure in that box, TT assumed I would have one this year and they were right. If you see any ️to the left of any Form, you must fix it or your return will not go through.

Why does turbotax keep asking to "review" the estimated tax payments when they're entered correctly?

TurboTax may repeatedly ask to "review" estimated tax payments if there is a mismatch or validation issue in the entered amounts or dates. Even if the payments are correct, the software might not recognize the input properly due to formatting or duplicate entries.

To address this:
1. Double-check that the payment amounts and dates exactly match your records or IRS notices.
2. Remove duplicate entries if any exist.
3. If you used a calculator or copy-pasted the amounts, try manually typing them.

If the issue persists, the prompt is likely a system glitch. You can proceed without concern, as long as the payments are correctly entered, since it won't affect your return negatively.
